National Interschool & Dragon Boat Festival
This year, the National Interschool Dragon Boat competition will be held on 23rd May 2025, in conjunction with the Dragon Boat Festival from 24th to 25th May 2025, at the Water Sports Centre, Sportshub, celebrating the Dumpling Festival and the rich heritage of dragon boating. The National Interschool competition will feature exciting races for secondary schools, junior colleges, and the Millennia Institute, fostering a competitive spirit among the younger generation.
In addition to the Interschool races, the festival will introduce a new race format, including a thrilling U-turn race to test the skills of both helmsmen and rowers. We are also bringing back the popular Dragonbattle, a head-to-head challenge that adds an extra layer of excitement. This festival will celebrate the dragon boat community, blending tradition with innovative race formats and offering something for everyone in the sport.
